Bahren Dalimunthe began his legal career as a paralegal at DNT Lawyers. He is currently involved in handling various criminal and civil cases, both in court proceedings and through out-of-court dispute resolution.

Some of the major cases he has worked on include the corruption case involving the Besitang–Langsa railway project, a money laundering case related to nickel mining activities in Southeast Sulawesi, a fraud and embezzlement case involving losses amounting to Rp50 billion, and an unlawful occupation dispute concerning a 569-hectare plantation area, among others.
